Lady Gaga Monster Ball

My dream finally came true last night. I had the pleasure of seeing one of my idols in concert.

LADY GAGA!!!!!!

She is so effin amazing her name deserves to be big and bold every time I write it. It was really important for me to see her in person because my two other idols passed away before I ever got a chance to see them (Michael Jackson and George Carlin).

E.W. knew how much it meant to me to see her so he surprised me with tix to her Monster Ball. And better yet, the seats were fucking amazing.

I don't know who he had to blackmail to get those seats since the concert sold out in like minutes but he did it and it was a night I will never forget. I'll be an old granny one day telling my grandchildren...

Me (85 yrs old): Your grandma saw Lady Gaga when she was your age! Isn't that exciting now?

Grandchildren: Grandma! Lady Gaga is suuuuch a has-been. Is she even like alive anymore?

Me (85 yrs old): *cough* How dare you! Lady Gaga was the performer of the century. She is a legend like Madonna!! *wheez*

Grandchildren: Who is Madonna?

Me (85 yrs old): *has heart attack and dies*

--------------------------------------------------------------------

Yep, that will be my demise.

If you attend a Lady Gaga concert, you will stand out if you don't stand out. Know what I mean? If you don't look like a freak, people will look at you like you are one. Everyone dressed up and her concert looked like a huge Halloween party where everyone is obsessed with Gaga. Oh wait sorry, GAGA. That's better.

My Gaga inspired dominatrix outfit. I was gonna do red hair but decided to keep it monochromatic.

Inside of the monster ball! Had to do a quick snapshot because like 20 people were watching me and even more people were standing in line to get inside monster ball too.

My makeup!! I bought these super cute eye lashes at a drug store. They are called "pixie dust". They have matching bottom lashes that are glittery as well but I thought it would be too much. Now that I look back I wish I had worn them. Either way, got many compliments on the lashes.

My favorite part about the concert was how many powerful messages she conveyed to the audience. She made everyone feel like they belonged, were loved, and were free. She is right, her music does set you free.

She also announced her new album title which is "Born This Way". Her message is Fuck you, I was born this way and I LOVE IT.

And I love her for making everyone think that way. People message me every day and tell me how much they love my blog, photos, videos etc etc. But I also have people messaging me everyday telling me I am ugly, slutty, stupid, not good enough, too thin, too short, too self-absorbed and so on.

WELL FUCK YOU.. I LOVE MYSELF!!!

And loving yourself is the first step to loving other people. I am who I am and I will never become more beautiful or taller. I am who I am and I have learned to accept it and love it. I wish more people were that way.

I wouldn't even fathom messaging someone and telling them they are ugly or stupid. WHY? WHAT IS THE POINT? I couldn't possibly get satisfaction out of putting someone down and ruining their day. it would actually make me depressed.

So people. PLEASE BE NICE!! Be nice to everyone and they will be nice back. The world is a giant loop and you will get what you give.

One day, the cruel people in the world will get theirs. And hopefully it will change their lives for the better.

Ok enough talk... PICS!!!

My baby and I. He was the most handsome man at the whole show! How can I love someone so much?

Thank you or the tickets baby cakes! I think I look like a vampire here with my pale face and dark hair! I haven't been tanning my face lately in fear of getting wrinkles. Every time I see an older woman with amazing skin I ask how they do it and the response is ALWAYS - "don't tan your face"!

Lady Gaga performing "Dirty Rich"

My favorite costume in the show. She came out dressed as a beautiful angel with moving parts and then she rose to the ceiling. It was truly magical.

The stadium was completely sold out and not one seat was empty. I actually met a guy at the bar that had snuck in and was hoping to see the show or free. I hope he made it :) There were so many people that it looked like a huge ocean of human waves. Exhilarating really.

And I leave you with my favorite quote from the show. Words to live by.

"The best thing about the Monster Ball is I created it so my fans will have a place to go. A place where all the freaks are outside. And I locked the fucking doors. It doesn't matter who you are or where you come from or how much you've got in your pocket because tonight and every night after, you can be whoever it is that you wanna be."

You are beautiful. Don't ever let people bring you down. They do it because they are jealous.
