Four Years With The Man of My Dreams

Today is the exact day that I met my future husband 4 years ago! We are having dinner at Tequila's tonight which is where we went on our first date. I still remember the first time I met him, he was wearing a tan, corduroy jacket and he smelled so good. He drove up to my apartment in a big BMW (thankfully, he got rid of that thing, I hate big cars) and gave me a small hug. During dinner, we had such easy and comfortable conversation and it was the first time I really felt like this could be something. At the end of the night, he drove me home and I leaned for a goodnight kiss only to be greeted with his cheek instead oh his lips :(

I walked into my apartment feeling dejected. Why didn't he want to kiss me? Did he not have as wonderful time as I did? As all these thought raced through my head, I received a text message - "I had a great time with you and can't wait to see you again!"

And that was the beginning of our love story! Three weeks later, he flew me out to Puerto Rico where we started to fall in love with each other.

I would do anything for this man, he is truly the light in my life. There is not one single person on this Earth that doesn't think highly of Eddie and look up to him and what he has done with his life. I can only dream to be more like him and strive to everyday. I love love love love love love love love love (ok my fingers are getting tired) him sooooo much.

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY BABY. I can't wait for 40 more years with your beautiful smile!

Old Photographs Are a Window To Our History

My love for photography extends way beyond taking photos of myself. I recently started a project in which I am making a Photobook with all of my favorite photographs of my grandparents and great grandparents. The photos are so incredible to look at. It's like a little window into a world that once was. One day my great grandchildren will look at my photos and wonder what our world was like.

It's kind of weird to see my grandparents in such a youthful light but they were once young too! And good looking may I add! Their photos are flawless and they didn't even have Photoshop back then.

The black and white and film grain in the photographs really make the photos so mysterious and interesting to me. I wish I could go back in time for just one day and talk to my grandparents when they were my age. That would be unbelievable but alas time travel probably won't be invented until I'm long gone. Maybe my great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great grandchildren will visit me one day. Then I can steal their time machine and visit MY grandparents!

PS...there is a topless shot of me at the very bottom ;)

My gorgeous grandmother. Not many people have a good looking profile line. And no photoshop!

A photographer loved her versatile look so much that he photographed her for free. Classic Beauty! Doesn't she kind of look like an old starlet back in the day?

My handsome grandpa in the Russian army. Love the classic Russian hat. Eddie got me one just like that when he was in Moscow. Except it's white and girly.

I'm sure they were very popular with the ladies back then :)

My grandmother as a child with my great grandmother. Interesting fact: people didn't smile back then because it was considered foolish to smile in photographs. You looked like a goofball if you smiled.

That's me in the front seat and my cousin Polina in the back... taken in Kiev, Ukraine. I love how I look like a constipated boy and Polina looks like a concerned cabbage patch doll.

Me: I'm in charge of this playground Bioootch!!

Polina: That's what you thinkkkkk

Ok, ready for the money shot??

Tah Dahhhhhh!!

What the hell is up with my ears? They looked like humungous elf ears when I was little and now I have itty bitty ears.

Scottsdale vs. Philadelphia

Everytime I come to Scottsdale, it really shocks me how polar opposite the city is to Philadelphia. If there was ever such a thing as Anti-Philly, it would be Scottsdale.

Here are a few of the major differences I've noticed during my trips here...

1. Philadelphians are FAT. How many times is our city going to be put on the fat list? Aren't we sick of it? And more importantly, why are we not doing anything about it? Scottsdale is full of bikers, joggers, people carrying around water bottles (not super duper mochafrappachinolattes). I think everyone here is more aware of the fact that being healthy will increase your lifespan!! There are health menus galore in Scottsdale and there is even a wheatgrass and tofu section at the supermarket. Where is our freshly made tofu? Is Philly too good for tofu? Why is it that I must go to a health food store to get healthy food?

2. People in Scottsdale are HOT. It really is freaky how good looking everyone is here. I've been to LA, Chicago, Miami and Vegas and I can definitely say that there are more good looking people in Scottsdale than all of those places combined. I don't know why they all gather in Scottsdale with no beach and super hot weather but they do.

3. People in Scottsdale are very active. Now, I'm not saying that Philadelphians are lazy...well actually I am. You all think you are so fit jogging along boathouse row don't you?? Well guess what? People in Scottsdale run up and down a treacherous mountain every day! Yes a mountain...not a hill...a mountain. As in, you need to be on all fours half the time to reach the summit. Camelback Mountain is so popular you have to wait in line just to park your car. I've never had a problem parking near boathouse row. Just saying. Scottsdale even has trampoline parks. Imagine a gymnasium with the floors and walls covered in trampolines. Sound awesome? It is.

4. The food... Ok ok this is where we win of course. But maye that's why we are so fat! Think about that for a moment.

5. Only rich people have grass in their yards. Arizona is a desert and grass is expensive man!

6. People in Scottsdale are so hospitable!! I should make another exclamation point because living in Philly really makes you forget that there are nice strangers out there. Granted, we aren't as bad as New York, but we are next in line.

7. I can't think of anything else at the moment.

If AZ didn't get so darn hot during the day and so darn cold at night, I think I would love to live here.

Turn Jealousy Into Determination

Some of today's girls and their hatred truly disappoint me. Why is there so much jealousy and hate floating around?? Since when has putting someone down become a means to feel better about yourself?

I would never say... Angelina Jolie is a stupid whore just because she is prettier and richer than me. I embrace the fact that a woman had the opportunity to become so powerful and successful.

Who knows, maybe that girl you are labeling a "bitch" or a "loser" is a sweet and caring person. But you will never know because you are blinded by jealousy and things you wish you had. Instead, why don't you embrace the wonderful things you do have and stop seeing GREEN!

People who have what you want should give you hope and determination girls! Not envy and hate!!

Envy has been the downfall of many great people and today's young girls use it as fuel for hatred.

Wow, I sound really old but it needs to be said.

Frickin Airplane Toilets!!

I am currently blogging from high above the clouds on my way to Scottsdale, AZ. God bless US Airways for giving me the gift of Wifi on my flight. There is no better awesomeness than being able to Facebook and blog 30k ft in the air.

I think Eddie likes it too because I only poke and bother him hourly instead of every 15 minutes. I'm actually pretty cool on International flights when I get my own personal TV and all but what the hell am I supposed to do on domestic flights with no TV?! Twiddle my thumbs? No, bother Eddie of course!! Plus, I'm so over iPhone apps. All that money spent and gone down the drain. Ugh.

**If you haven't noticed, I will now be calling Eddie by his actual name because everytime I type E.W it sounds like "Ewwwwwww" in my head. I just asked him and he said it's ok to use his name :)

So back to Wifi, it really is a perfect cure for my adult ADHD. I wonder if I can make Wifi calls from up here. That would be so awesome. Mom...guess where I'm calling from! No, not jail :/

-----------------------------------

Ever since I was little, I have had an irrational fear of the airplane toilet flushing sound. Ever since I can remember, I've had to hold my hands over my ears and sometimes close my eyes whenever I flush so that I don't hear that horrid *SSSSLURPTHP* sound. I used to think that I could get sucked through that thing and die, now I just think that if I'm still sitting on the toilet when it flushes, my butt might get suctioned to the toilet and I would get stuck. Can you imagine how embarrassing that would be to have to ask a stewardess to unsuction your ass from a toilet hole?

It's weird because I know in the back of my mind that it is not possible but that does not stop me from being terrified. Kind of like when people are afraid of silly clowns. They know they won't hurt them but still pee their pants when they see them.

My 365 photo of the day. Airplane food! YUM!

What You Missed At Exxxotica 2011 - Porn Star Expo

If you are about to read this post while at work. STOP. Unless you want to get fired of course :) This post is definitely NSFW!!

For the fourth year in a row, I was asked to the dancers and models at Exxxotica NJ. Exxxotica is a 3-day long adult entertainment convention where porn stars come to promote themselves and their new work.

My job is to make sure that all of the event attendees have something nice to look at and be entertained by as they are walking around the convention center. There is no one better than me in Philadelphia at providing gorgeous girls and I think I did a pretty darn good job this year. *total self promotion*

This year I had 15 gorgeous Jewelz Entertainment dancers, dressed in hot pink and black, dancing on stages, poles, swinging on swings, taking pics with people, and being hot & sexy.

Some of the more "interesting" stuff I witnessed at the show was an older half-naked man dressed in leather bondage being walked around on a leash, 450 lb naked women bending over and shaking EVERYTHING, fire shows, aerial performances, and a huge line of guys trying to get Ron Jeremy's autograph. He is totally awesome and all but seriously?? He's your idol? I guess he did have a pretty lengthy and successful career if you think about it.

Anyway, the entire event was a success but I definitely had enough of thongs, pasties and boobies for a while. A girl can only take so much before it gets old. Guys on the other hand.....Well, that is why us woman rule the world ;)

Here are pics of my beautiful dancers and models at Exxxotica 2011!

And if those pics weren't enough to drive you crazy....Here are 2 videos of my Jewelz Entertainment models in the Naughty Lingerie Fashion Show Part 1 & 2.

AND if you still want more after that, which might mean you really need to get laid, here is a link to my last year's Exxxotica Post.

Ok time to pack for my upcoming mini-trip. I'll be visiting Scottsdale, AZ next week for some fun in the sun. Omg, I cannot wait to have another steak at Mastro's!

I'm Engaged And Here's Proof

Engagement photo time!!!!!

Three posts in a row. Wow, I'm on a roll.

*Warning* This post is going to be super cheesy and lovey dovey so if you are a suicidal loner...please stop reading now.

--------------------------------------------------------------

But before my cheesy post, I wanted to share a horribly disgusting dream I had last night. It was almost like a horror movie but then I ended up being part of it towards the end.

It started out with a family of mobsters trying to rob a rundown house. The owner of the house saw what they were trying to do and decided to strike a deal with them. If they left his house alone, they could live in it for a month...FOR FREE. So the mobster family moved in that very same day. While showing them around, the owner murdered each family member in very gruesome ways! He skinned the father alive, shoved the mother's head into the oven and raped and suffocated both daughters. (Why the hell are these nasty images intruding my dreams?!).

I plopped into the dream just in time to watch the murderer telling the first daughter that there was only one way out of the house, through his desk cupboard, and then he suffocated her. As he started working on the other daughter, I quickly cleared out the cupboard and stepped through it and into a secret tunnel leading outside. The last thing I heard was the screaming of the murderer as he realized I had escaped and I wondered..Is he pissed because I escaped or because of what he has done?

Why can't I dream of cute, fuzzy puppies in clouds of cotton candy? Why must I be the sole survivor of a gruesome mass murder? I feel guilty even though it technically didn't happen.

--------------------------------------------------------------

ANYWAY, back to my original post. I had my engagement pictures done a few weeks ago and they seriously turned out amazing. I don't want to brag but E.W. and I make pretty damn good photo subjects. Not because of the way we look physically but because the love really shines through.

Here are a few of my favs (picture heavy)...

*Can't decide on which photo to use on my Save The Dates so any help would be appreciated!*
